Thanks to careful and loving restoration, the grounds and the castle itself bring back to life the gentle and joyful spirit of the end of 18th century. Both sober and ornate, sculptures, mosaics and the gold leaf embossed ceillings have brought life to this engaging residence that remained asleep so long. The effort to reclaim the chateau has born fruit : the lawns lend themselves to relaxation and to open-air receptions and a brand-new slate roof shines under the Occitan sun.
Panelling, marble chimneys from Italy or from the Minervois region, fine parquet floors, paintings and pleasant grey and blue decoration, reveal the real face of this shining castle.
